Who we are:

We are M.G. Farms and Trading Limited from Ghana West Africa.
The story of MG farms, started as a vision by Mr. Kwadwo Inkoom, the Managing Director of the company. The company started growing Papaya Solo in 1999 on 2 acres in the central region of Ghana. With hard work and dedication from our staff, quite soon M.G. Farms was able to start its own export. However, the climate in the central region was not ideal for growing papayas so we decided to move to the eastern region of Ghana. This turned out to be a very good decision as the temperatures and the rain pattern are more suitable for growing papayas. Today, M.G. Farms owns 100 acres of land used for growing papayas.
In 2015 we started using 26.5 acres for organic agriculture to venture into a more sustainable Agriculture which will be in harmony with the environment we work in. The first export of organic papaya yield was October 2016 to Europe and the customer feedback so far has been very good.

What we do:

We grow and export organic solo papaya. We are certified by Control Union certification body. Currently we have 4 Hectares of organic solo papaya harvesting plots. The papayas go to our clients in Europe.
